Labour have run this town for 13 years. Are you satisfied with what is happening?
HUGE RENT INCREASE
The Council have raised rents by 7.7% this year, which is far higher than the inflation rate. This is punishing those in our community who need our help the most. Why should they pay for the inefficiency of the Labour Council ? We all deserve better than this.
POOR SERVICES
A staggering £1.6million has been spent on promoting and educating the recycling of waste. Despite this Ipswich falls far behind most other areas with recycling rates 21% lower than the national average. With a Labour Council you pay more for services but get less. We must do better for our town.
HIGH TAX
Ipswich residents are taxed more than they need to be. Our Council Tax rates are among the highest in the country with Labour run Ipswich charging 93% above the median average and higher than all comparable Councils. Another example of paying more to get less.
A POOR ENVIRONMENT
The Council needs to be better at cleaning our streets and keeping the roads clear of debris. When was the last time you saw
a Council Road-Sweeper? We must also tackle poor air quality and road safety, especially near our schools. The Labour Council are failing us, you are paying more and getting less.
FEELING UNSAFE IN TOWN
We need to tackle antisocial behaviour and more needs to be done with the Safer Streets funding from the Conservative Government. The Council often neglects our area, with litter and drug-dealing common on our streets. You deserve better than this.
Do YOU want more of the SAME? If not, you need to vote Conservative on May 2nd and help us bring this inefficiency and waste to an end.
