Town Centre
For four and a half years I’ve been passionate about representing the views of Ipswich residents. I’ve knocked on thousands of doors and formed many of my views based on these conversations.
Thousands of Ipswich residents are shunning their own Town centre for a number of reasons. A significant part of this is due concerns about crime and anti social behaviour. Ipswich Labour attack anyone for raising these concerns for “talking down the Town”. This is nonsense. We all care passionately about the Town.
If I’m re elected I will call for a zero tolerance approach to crime and anti social behaviour in our Town centre and I won’t make excuses for those blighting the Town centre experience for the majority of residents. We need to crack down hard on them. If we have a Labour MP and a Labour council there will be no way this would ever happen.
