Ben has a simple ambition for Ipswich - that everyone has the security of a good job and a home to live in.
Ben has been working hard to see homes built in the town, doing all that he can to get the developers who are able to provide the new, quality homes needed. He has also worked to get stalled developments re-starting, such as the Winerack block.
Unemployment is down 63% in the town compared to 2010. Ben has brought to Ipswich dedicated services for young people- My Go (pictured) - that aims to reduce youth unemployment. The results are tremendous -the number of under-24s claiming JobSeekers Allowance is now only 135, compared to over 1000 in 2010. Ben and the Conservatives will continue to push for investment and high quality jobs in the town.
Unfortunately Jeremy Corbyn does not understand any of this and his tax, spending and borrowing plans risks pushing the UK economy into a recession and ordinary working families would suffer from reduced job security and house re-possessions.
