The Association is delighted to welcome Mr Lee Anderson MP, who is keen to talk to us about his journey on becoming an MP at the last General Election and why the Red Wall seats turned Blue.
Lee is the MP for Ashfield in Nottinghamshire, previously a Labour stronghold, and before that he was a Labour councillor before defecting to the Conservative Party in 2018. A former coal miner, he went on to work as office manager to the then Labour MP, Gloria Del Piero. A vocal Brexiteer at the time, and now passionately anti-Woke, Lee is happy to talk to us about his varied and sometimes controversial past.
A plain speaking Tory backbencher, Lee will explain why he thinks Labour voters have deserted their party and the reasons for the collapse of the traditional Red Wall seats. He will also outline to us his views and policies on how he plans to hold onto his seat next time round.
If you would like to be entertained by Lee and hear his story straight from the coalface, please sign up to Eventbrite here-
